Our farm is located in a hilly region at an altitude of about
100mt, 10 km away from the se
aside.
In order to produce good quality and healthy products, we are
practicing ecofarming, to respect and to protect the surrounding
environment and local traditions.
A part the production of olive oil, the family runs a small
Agriturismo nemed “Tra gli Ulivi” (Among olive trees),
and produces wine such as Le Grottine, Ferruggini, Felciaino,
Guado de’ Gemoli and the line Lienà.
The farm of the Chiappini Family is stretching on the green
hills of Bolgheri, offering a unique view of the surrounding
area. The sun rises behind the green, wonderful and wild hills
of Bolgheri, dominated by the fortress of Castiglioncello, that
almost touching the tops of the famous cypresses, drawing on
the sea.
In the blue of the Tyrrenian Sea, at the sun set, you can
see the small island of Capraia, the mountains of Corsica and
the Elba Island behind the promontory of Populonia, that closes
the sea view, to go then to the South where you can see the
ancient tower of Donoratico, the village of Castagneto Carducci,
the gentle ridge where the castle of Segalari rises, cultivated
with olive trees, vineyards and sometimes interrupted by scrubs
of oaks, ilex and hawthorn, to end again with the hills of Bolgheri
and Castiglioncello.

This wonderful theatre open to the seaside and protected from
North and North- East, offers a particular micro climate: windy,
airy and dry in summer. This condition, in addiction to the
soil rich of minerals, makes the location extremely suitable
for the growth of olive-trees and wine. Grapes grown on our
farm are: Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit
Verdot and Merlot, Vermentino and Viognier.
